About Antony

Antony holds an honours degree in music and is a full teaching member of STAT (the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique). He enjoys a varied career ranging from orchestral trumpeter to teacher of both trumpet and Alexander Technique, currently holding positions at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and The Purcell School of Music. His private practice is based at The Friends Meeting House Watford.

As a trumpeter Antony has played for some of the worlds finest orchestras and toured internationally with performances in venues including Carnegie Hall. Additionally he worked extensively in West End musical theatre on productions of Mary Poppins and Grammy nominated The Prince of Egypt.

Since qualifying as an Alexander teacher in 2005 Antony has dedicated himself to furthering the understanding of Alexander’s insights generally and especially with regard to musical performance and practice.
